The best route to a bold, fresh perspective in your life is through a garden of your own. With a focus on culinary and medicinal herbs and native plant selection, I create bespoke garden plans that offer beauty and a sense of calm to your outdoor living space.
After a decade of volunteering as an herb grower for Project Angel Heart and the Arvada Community Gardeners, and a lifetime of gardening, I founded Lovage Garden Company in 2020 to be able to share my garden knowledge with others. You may need advice, or you may need the entire road map for your future garden. In either situation, I can help.
I focus on herb plants because they are amazing, fragrant and versatile. You can consume them, create lotions to nourish your skin, or even dye fabric with them. I enjoy pairing herbs with other native plants to produce an easy and unique landscape that you can enjoy in a variety of ways that suit your lifestyle. Herbs are an important addition to any landscape as well as to any vegetable garden.

Planning
The most important part of the garden design process is learning about you and the vision you have for your garden. During our meeting, we will discuss your interests, your space, climate and the amount of effort you wish to expend in your garden. Pulling from my experience in both commercial and residential installations, I will create a garden space for you that will engage and nourish you, or simply share the ideas and best practices to get you moving along on your own.
Design
Following your consultation, I will deliver a garden design and planting plan customized for your goals, or a summary of steps for you to build your dream garden yourself. My hope is to inspire you and enable you to take that step towards having a garden that reflects your lifestyle and vision.
