A Learning Garden

Working with students to create, build and plant their school garden checked multiple lesson plan boxes. Produce is used by the culinary program, the sustainability group learned about the benefits of growing a garden, and faculty enjoyed a calm get-a-way from the classroom. The garden has evolved since this first installation but the lessons learned have lasting impact.
